The Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) comes into effect on 24 February 2025 and while previous notifications indicated that we were moving back to thresholds applied for all expenditure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR2015) between 01/01/2022 - 31/12/2023, a January 2025 update brings them back in line with current PCR thresholds.

These thresholds will apply for sub central contracting authorities (Education Sector) for all tenders / contracts conducted under the Public Contracts Regulations and processes conducted under the new Procurement Act until 31 December 2025

If in doubt - always apply the lower threshold and consolidate spend for 4 years or the term of the contract (whichever is the greater)

All figures include VAT
